Small Wonders kids celebrate Republic day

Republic day celebrated at Small Wonders School

Mohali, January 25
The tiny tots of Small Wonder School, phase VII Mohali celebrated Republic day with great enthusiasm and fervor.
Celebrations started with unfurling the tricolor followed by students of class-II and III clad in tricolor dresses singing patriotic melody hey vandainye bharat. The children’s performance echoed the determination and braveness of Indians. The song was a resonance of thought of pride to be an Indian.
Children also paid tributes to Mahatama Gandhi, the father of nation, with songs like Choti Si Chaal Hai Unki highlighting his simplicity and contribution to our country.
Students of class II girls danced to the tunes of songs Desh Mera Rangeela depicting beauty of India. Class III girls danced on Rang De Basanti song and paid tribute to the freedom fighters.
Harmanpreet of class III recited patriotic poems and Palakshi of class III student too shared her views with other children about Republic day.
Teachers briefed students on the Republic day celebrations at national capital New Delhi. They were informed about tableaux of various states and colorful dances taken out as procession during national parade, depicting our country’s diversity.
