Chandigarh, January 21

Canada is the only country that spends maximum for benefits of new immigrants to help them integrate in the maple leaf country.

Canadian MP Gurbax Singh Malhi said during his visit to the World Wide Immigration Consultancy Services (WWICS) Asian headquarters at Chandigarh.

Malhi spoke high on the contribution of Indian immigrants in Canadian economy. “The contribution of Indian immigrants to Canada’s economy is very high. East Indian immigrants have been making contributions to the Canadian economy since their arrival 120 years ago. It was at that time when first Sikhs from Punjab made their way to British Columbia and have never looked back,” said Malhi, a representative of Baramalea – Gore – Malton from the province of Ontario – Canada.

Lt. Col. B.S. Sandhu (Retd.), CMD-WWICS Group, Devinder Sandhu and Parvinder Sandhu- Sr. Directors – WWICS welcomed MP Malhi and took him around the entire WWICS premises.

The six times MP at Canada, Malhi was highly impressed by the modern infrastructure, competent staff and vast Indian and overseas operation of the company. Sandhu apprised him was apprised about the immigration and settlement services we are offering to our clients. He was highly impressed with volume and quality of clients WWICS is presently handling be it professionals, business persons and students.

“It’s glad to know that WWICS pioneers in imparting Canadian education in India at Continental Institute for International Studies (CIIS),” he said. Malhi was also enlightened about Canadian courses being offered by WWICS affiliated to Thompson Rivers University, Red Rivers College & Georgian College, Ontario.

A high tea was served at the occasion where Institute Director along with Indian and Canadian faculty members of Continental Group of Institute.
