Chandigarh Club holds colorful Christmas celebrations


Harshita wins drawing contest at Chandigarh Club Christmas celebrations

Chandigarh, December 25
An interesting and competitive with colorful entries marked the drawing competition of different age group at Chandigarh Club during Christmas Celebrations 2009 organised in association with The British School and Alchemist Food and Beverages Limited
Children vied for the best drawing title, while judges had difficult time adjudging the best one. In age group five to seven Harsita Jain was declared first, Arnav Kajriwal was declared second and Archit Singh secured third place. In age group eight to eleven Arnidam Anand was declared first, Janat Chawla was declared second and Kritika Bansal secured third place. In age group twelve to fifteen years Manat Chawla was declared first, Tanya Kaushal was declared second and Akriti Saxena secured third place.
The main lawns of Chandigarh Club witnessed a hullabaloo of activities. Bouncy camel rides remained the most sought after item.
Puppet show and magic show left many amazed. Children especially enjoyed the puppet show depicting various hues of life. Huge inflatable cartoon characters added to the zing of festivities and carnival.
Tattoo making evoked thumping response, while carnival goers had busy time posing for camera with Santa. Santa too enjoyed getting himself clicked with his bag of gifts and children in tow.
The number game tambola gave busy time to those not interested in camel rides. Subsequent gifts rewarded their patience and added to the spirit of fun.
Chandigarh Club held this colorful event in association with The British School and Alchemist Food and Beverages Limited. Other partners of the event were Sunder Jewelers and Kreative Event Company.
