Voters want change of mandate, BJP ready to take over state

BJP will gift new governance to Haryana on Diwali

Chandigarh, August 31

The Bharatiya Janta Party welcomes Election Commission of India’s announcement to hold general assembly elections on October 13.

Sh Krishan Pal Gurjar, State President BJP Haryana said that BJP will gift new, transparent and corruption free governance to people of Haryana as a Diwali gift.

“The declaration has infused new life in the hopes of people who are crushed under tyrannical rule of Congress. It is the high time for mandate to change and winds of reform to sweep the state,” he said.

He added that people are waiting for an immediate change as they have already seen the non-performing governments of Congress, INLD and those led by Bhajan Lal.

Gurjar expressed party’s faith and confidence in ECI in holding free and fair elections in the state. He said that party would shortly declare its list of candidates.

He revealed that state election committee of BJP met few days ago and discussed names of probable candidates. The win ability factor would be main consideration while deciding a candidature. The list will soon be recommended to National Parliamentary Board for final decision.

Also the manifesto committee has onset its tour of the state to minutely study the mandate and needs of state. “The party would come out with its manifesto that will say all,” he assured.
